21-22 January 2023Week-end Workshops & Bals, STRASBOURG (Fr) Somatics CI Contact-Tango Tango Argentino In a beatifull venue with 3 dances, 3 rooms, 3 speakers, with 7 workshops & 3 specific bals, all tango, all contact-impro or all mixed, you choose your programme à la carte!   Tango and CI have in common that they bring us into contact with the Other. In a physical dialogue, we communicate through movement and touch. Dancing by improvising together is above all communicating without words! Tango and CI nourish each other. We want to offer each dancer to get inspiration from it, and saturday classes are specially made as bridges to experience the basics of each dance. Exploring and playing with the axis and with the sharing of the axis, invites us to feel one's body better, and find how to modulate the tone in a fluid way. Tango dancers can experiment an organic and breathing abrazo, and open the doors to a great freedom of expression. Whatever the style (from milonguero apilado to open embrace), and whatever the role (leader or follower)! Incorporating the structure of Argentine tango allows contactors for modulation and enrichment of duet forms, which often develop more at floor level. By emphasizing the walk, we give a direction and a dynamic. By taking the time to taste the suspension between two supports, we open the possibilities of breathing and improvisation.   How can we develop our ability to connect, while respecting our individuality?
