Dear Fridays for Future,

We are the initiative "Global Degrowth Day – A Good Life for All". By a
"good life for all" we mean a climate-friendly way of life, which aims
at the well-being of all, enables a self-determined life with dignity
for all and protects the ecological foundations of life. We want:

- "Enough" instead of ""more and more"
- cooperation, not competition
- solidarity, not exploitation
- self-determination and participation
- share, lend, repair - not throw away and buy new
- eco-mobility, city of short distances
- organic farming, not agribusiness

Last year we organized the "Global Degrowth Day – A Good Life for All"
action day for the first time, with more than 50 events worldwide. On
our website www.degrowth.info/en/globalday/ you will find an overview of
what happened last year, a more detailed description of the idea and
suggestions for events.
This year, the day will take place again on the first Saturday in June:
*6 June 2020*.

We would be very happy if as many Fridays for Future groups as possible
would participate! So it would be nice if you could share this
information within your network. For this you can also use the attached
