*Fortbildung in Contact Improvisation** **** **in Bern - CH** **mit Adrian Russi** **Oktober 2022 - Februar 2023* …4 Wochenenden plus optional 4 Tage:eintauchen-forschen-verstehen-geniessen-tanzen-weiterkommen… Die Fortbildung Contact Improvisation richtet sich an TeilnehmerInnen mit einer soliden Basis in CI und dem Interesse, sich in einer konstanten Gruppe vertieft mit dieser Tanzform auseinanderzusetzen. Das Ziel ist, in bewegungstechnischer Hinsicht wie auch auf den Ebenen der Improvisation und des Jammens zu forschen und individuelle Lernschritte zu machen. Weiter geht es darum, auch als Gruppe die CI in ihrer Dynamik und Komplexität besser zu verstehen. Inhaltlich liegt der Fokus auf Leichtigkeit und Präzision in der Bewegung, die ihrerseits auf einer differenzierten Wahrnehmung basiert. Dies ermöglicht eine Kommunikation, die ausgesprochen körperlich orientiert ist und gleichzeitig die vielfaeltigen Aspekte des ganzen Mensch-Seins beinhaltet. Sie soll auch in herausfordernden und dynamischen Bewegungssequenzen aufrechterhalten bleiben, so dass der gemeinsame Tanz fortlaufend mitgestaltet werden kann. Fliegen und gemeinsames Fallen, kopfüber bewegen oder das Following-Through bleiben so nicht einfach reine Technik, sondern werden Teil des Improvisations-Repertoires - was erlaubt, den Solo-Aspekt auch innerhalb des Contact-Duetts beizubehalten und zu grosser Autonomie sowie mühelosem Wechsel zwischen den Konstellationen führt (Solo, Duett, Trio, Gruppe). Grundlegende Prinzipien der CI werden in einer Weise vermittelt, dass ein tieferes Verständnis möglich wird und sich neue Wege im Tanz öffnen. Sich engagieren im und organisieren um den gemeinsamen Kontaktpunkt herum sowie das Beibehalten der Bewegungsfreiheit und Lebendigkeit auch während des Gewichtsaustausches sind grundlegend für alle Erfahrungsstufen. Das genaue Erspüren der physischen und physikalischen Ebene der CI aber auch das darüber Hinausgehen sind für mich in den letzten Jahren zu einem zentralen Teil im eigenen Tanz geworden. Es bringt Wahlmöglichkeiten und klare innere und äussere Ausrichtung, was schlussendlich in ein kompositorisches Verständnis für die CI münden kann. Nicht zuletzt soll jedeR die Kapazität entwickeln, einen Jam-Raum in seiner besonderen aktuellen Qualität wahrzunehmen und aktiv zu beeinflussen. Die Unterrichtsinhalte unterliegen einer rollenden Planung und richten sich ab dem zweiten Wochenende auch nach der Zusammensetzung der Gruppe, wobei spezifische Interessen und Anliegen berücksichtigt werden können. Die Wochenenden beginnen jeweils mit einer Fokus-Jam, wo nach Möglichkeit alle Fortbildungs-TeilnehmerInnen bereits anwesend sind. Dies ermöglicht einen gemeinsamen tänzerischen Start. Der Weihnachts-Workshop Ende Dezember ist offen für andere erfahrene ContacterInnen und ist ein optionaler Bestandteil der Fortbildung. The Tools offered cultivate different modes of attention within the perceptual / sensorial / visual / kinesthetic mindbody to be shared in a compositional space. The co-creation in the present time takes place and reveals a diversity of possible and potential relationships. It allows a study of the senses and their role in the organization of the bodies in movement, making us aware of how our own dance, the group and the environment are affected, informed and transformed according to the choices we make. Creating bridges and opening doors as pathways to access and to make available our bodies and its senses, we will nourish our dances. *CONTENT* *CI* We will plunge into it’s principles: the reflexive body, spherical space, qualities of touch, diversifying the mosaic of sensations, shared weight, modulation of tone, deep listening, availability, readyness, risk taking and response-ability. *IMPROVISATION* We will explore its specific relation to Time: unison, synchronicity, delay, etc. We will attend to its specific relation to Space: environment, architecture, materiality, immateriality… We will strengthen our solo dance. We will develop our capacity to collaborate and co-create within a group. *COMPOSITION* We will play with sensing/feeling/observing the organization of our senses, of the inner and outer space, as well as the emerging and evolving interrelationships that will reveal. **Festival ****Contact Improvisation ****En ****Provence – ****Rustrel****(****France - ****Provence) – ****July ****15-21 2023 - VI****I********EDITION ** *VII edition of the Festival de Danse Contact Improvisation de la Provence*, in Rustrel, one of the most beautiful villages in France, located north of Apt and at the foot of the Monts de Vaucluse. A unique opportunity of immersion for 7 days, for 35 participants, to experience an exploration of dance and movement with quality workshops, jams, live music and many other proposals to share. *Festival philosophy* This festival was born from an initiative between a brother and a sister and their passion for dance. Mercè Nebot, who has lived in French Provence for 20 years, and Pep Nebot, who lives in Barcelona, have joined forces to create this space for sharing dance, creation and beauty. At each edition, people of different nationalities have gathered for the Festival, in particular from France and Spain, but each year other nationalities join us, which is very enriching and allows the establishment of a cultural bridge around art, dance and creativity. In this festival we want to prioritize some approaches: * Quality pedagogy in Contact Improvisation dance to promote better body awareness; * Welcoming a small group that will live together for a week an intimate and profound human adventure. Based in Berlin, is a passionate CI dancer & teacher, deeply committed to CI and its community internationally. She has been teaching dance full time and wholeheartedly for 30 years, and specifically Contact Improvisation since 2004. * Elise Malafosse – (France) : Evening Intensive. In 2014, I was struck in front of a Contact Improvisation jam! Years of experiences already oriented towards motion and touch (communication and semiotic study at university, dance, yoga, massage) facilitate my way to the practice. While I am discovering CI, I meet new body and somatic practices (Body-Mind Centering, Feldenkrais, Alexander, Rolfing, Axis Syllabus, Gaga, Playfight…). And with Body-Mind Centering, I travel deeply for 6 years, trusting the intelligence of the animal body and moving from sensing, instinct, intuition! * Sébastien Prats (France): Vocal practice and jam music. Self-taught author, composer and performer for more than 20 years, Sébastien Prats offers an artistic originality that transcends borders.
