Hi all, it is not possible to identify a timeslot for all of us. So we decided to arrange 2 telcos, so that everybody who has filled in the availability sheet can take part. Funding for Homepage/Cloud GDD

Welcome to Activist Working Group "Global Degrowth Day"

Hi everybody, we kindly welcome you to join us in preparing the global degrowth day 2020! This is the first mail to this mailing list, so we will explain the current status and the next steps. Since we use the cloud intensively we gave you access (cloud.degrowth.net). You should have received an email. Please try to access it. If you have problems, please contact us. All relevant documents can be found in the folder activism > GlobalDegrowthDay. For this year's global degrowth day (GDD) on June 6th 2020 we already started with approaching partners. "Partner" means, that these are vivid players in the degrowth or related area, who could help us to make the action day public. We offer them to include their logo in our "call for action flyer" (see below) and to put their logo and the link to their homepage on our website (https://www.degrowth.info/en/globalday/). We expect from them, that they spread the GDD information (call for action flyer) via their channels and also organize an event on that day (if possible). We have a spreadsheet in our cloud called partner contact data 2020, where we keep track of the status. The answer deadline for the partners is officially Feb 10th, inofficially Feb 17th, as we want to collect all logos and put them in our "call for action flyer". Next step is to prepare the "call for action flyer". This contains all information about the idea of GDD. We have a draft version, see https://cloud.degrowth.net/s/7qsLpakSERMH8ft (Activism > GlobalDegrowthDay > GDD2020 > Call for Partners, call for action ... > call for Action) Please have a look at it, if you think this English version is fine for you. We want to agree on a final version till Feb 6th. Afterwards translation needs to be triggered. Then the language versions needs to be "formatted" (including the partner logos) and a small pdf has to be created. Goal is to reach this by Feb 28th, because we want to start the campaign on March 1st. Last comment for now: As we mentioned in an earlier mail, there is a telco of all activists this Thursday, Feb 6th, at 11 am CET. If you have time for this call, it would be great if you could participate. If not, the agenda document will finally contain the minutes... In any case we recommend to also subscribe to the activist mailing list, by sending a mail to: degrowth-activist-subscribe(a)lists.riseup.net , as the invitations for these calls are sent via that mailing list.
